Thats right, Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly is coming to my humble little city in a few weeks. You bet Im going to be there. Maze was one of the first groups that really started to appreciate when I was younger. There was a record store here in Tulsa called Sound Warehouse. I was always in there, and knew a lot of the people. This was in the early 80s so most kids my age were looking for hiphop and the hot new R&B artists. So when I was coming in there looking for Music of my Mind or A Love Surpreme, I kinda stood out. But one of the first albums I was looking for was this one from Maze. Needless to say it wasnt too popular to play around my friends so I would listen to it at night with my headphones on lol. I would even hide the album jacket behind my other records so no one would see it. My uncle would play this song on his Reel to Reel (remember those) and since I looked up to him I had to have it too.
