So I overheard these highschool aged girls talking about music. And the conversation turned to lloyd's "You". They went on and on about how they loved that song. I wondered if they knew it was sampled. Of course not lol. But I have to admit, Ive been telling everyone it was a sample from the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced "Human League". This was wrong. The group was actually "Spandau Ballet". The song is called "True". I know you all have heard lloyds version but just in case here is the video. (Side Note, PM Dawn also sampled this song for Baby you send me...I think that was the name) lol.
